Cerasuolo di Vittoria is one of the most exclusive wine produced in Italy,
particularly in Sicily. It is the only Sicilian wine considered worthy of the DOCG
status. This wine has become during the years a sort of a show case wine for
the land. It has a strong and ancient tradition, playing its identity on the
combination between the strength of Nero d’Avola and the kindness of
Frappato. The content of Frappato gives it a bright colour and a distinctive
flavour that remind cherries and strawberries. The component of Nero d’Avola
carries the weight and the body.
